Last weekend was spent in Paris, and it was fabulous. We spent one day in the Versaille garden, and only the garden. The palace, the garden and Marie Antoniette’s estate is simply way too much in one day, besides the lines to even buying the ticket was daunting, so I plan to go back for more on an other occasion. The garden is huge, impressive and beautiful. If you have thing for symmetry, you will love this place. It is divided into several sections with groves dedicated to different purposes, such as theatrical performances, music or even gambling. And everywhere you look there are fountains, some accompanied by classical music played from loudspeakers hidden in the trees.
